- Responsible for the weekly end-to-end bookkeeping service delivery of a small client base
- Respond to weekly client queries regarding bookkeeping, financials, and payroll.
- Prepare client accounts for tax lodgements.
- Act as a workflow manager for your clients ensuring that everything is up to date.
- Meetings with the rest of the team to update and optimise our service for clients.
- Analyse and improve the efficiency / state of Xero accounts.
- Provide proactive advice and value around obligations, numbers, and accounts i.e. be helpful and supportive.
The ideal applicant has:
- Degree qualified (business, commerce, accounting, finance etc.).
- Minimum 5 years’ accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Tech savvy and highly competent in Xero.
- Proactive, positive, friendly, and helpful personality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with high emotional intelligence. Ability to quickly establish connections and build rapport with clients.
- Passionate about helping clients achieve great outcomes – this is a must!
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of relevant ATO legislation.
- Ability to use initiative, set priorities and meet deadlines.
